Who is Chimù?
Hi, I’m Chiara Mulas but you can call me Chimù.
I was born in Arezzo but I moved in Florence in 2015. I see everything in black and white, but that’s because they are my favorite colors.
A summary in three words? Drawing, work and singing. Often simultaneously.
If I had to tell you who I am briefly, here’s what you need to know:
I am a sociable, positive and very curious person. These three characteristics permeate everything I do, even work. In fact, I’m not a big fan of formalities and I like to create real connections with people.
I’ve been singing my whole life. You know those movies where there’s this annoying kid who makes his friends start a band? That’s me at 16, and that’s how my first band was born. Music is a huge part of my life.
I love books, deeply. I like to dive into the pages and all the new things they teach me. If you ask me for an advice on what to read, I would always end up mentioning Saramago.
I am vegetarian, because it’s in line with my values. I firmly believe in respecting others, whatever they look like.
Black is my favorite color and I always try to use it in what I do, especially in my wardrobe and tattoos.
My spirit animal is the rabbit, which I feel incredibly in tune with! Especially since I read “Watership Down” by Richard Adams, one of my favorite books.

About my work
Since 2014 I have been studying digital marketing, illustration, graphic design and communication. I still do it everyday to keep updated.
I worked 4 and a half years in the public sector, then I spent 3 years in a communication agency as social and community manager, often supporting the graphic department before becoming a freelance for 4 years and helped a digital strategist build a social media advertising studio.
I had my works exhibited at many events and bars in Florence and Bologna, at Pitti Uomo 2019 and at the off circuit of the Venice Biennale in 2019.
